these tea strainers are made by hand on a wheel, treated with an exterior colour made from local river mud, they are made using an ancient burnishing technique called bruñido. they’re pit fired, food safe, and the natural clay helps to retain both cold and heat. hand wash, and do not place in the dishwasher or microwave. care should be taken to not place anything greasy inside or they may stain, the pieces may gradually lose their sheen if they are filled with water for extended periods.
